After multiple revisions, we are finally ready to mail out our letters to our Representatives at the federal level.  Each student wrote a letter about an issue that is important to them.  They are sending those letters to their Representatives; imploring them to take action on behalf of their constituents.  This is our part of participating in our democracy.

Encourage your student to continue to contact their Representative about their feelings and thoughts as often as is appropriate.  Democracy is a verb; act on it!
