Our classroom government officially has a name, a motto, and a new flag!  What an amazing day for democracy (well, the classroom is more a benevolent dictatorship).  After students worked hard to create their vision of what our classroom should look like, we were faced with a tough choice.  How to decide what to select (there were 10 viable options)?  We implemented a Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) system in class instead of a traditional winner takes all approach.  We learned a bit about RCV from watching this brief video, linked here.
