Escape Room – 7th grade

Today, as part of an ice breaker into the social studies school year, we spent class working on a social studies escape room of sorts.  Students had to solve clues as they related to world geography, latitude and longitude, religion, government, economics, and more.  This entire process was done is small groups of 3-4 people.  The amount of collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem solving on display was something else.

Check out some of the photos.
