We had an amazing week – the students worked very well, performed their math skills, supported each other and maintained a great atmosphere in class.
Today we decided to have A MATH GAME DAY .
We played FRACTION WAR card game and FRACTION DOMINO
We had a great time and practiced some skills as well.
Part of today’s lesson we dealt with different kinds of problems that require fractions’ understanding and techniques . I was thrilled to watch the student enjoying, collaborating, building strategies, debating and discussing optional solutions respectfully.

Today as an opening activity we dealt with two word problems : “Two buckets” and The “mangoes problem” . The activities were done in groups of 3-4 students. I was very impressed by the group’s collaboration, brainstorming and creative problem solving. A variety of solutions were presented by the groups.
