With my due date quickly approaching, I wanted to share that this Friday will be my last day before I begin my maternity leave. As you know, Gev. Petrova, our WONDERFUL 6-8 grade ELA teacher will take my place while I am out. We have spent the last few weeks meeting to discuss where your children are, the structure of our class and how to continue moving your children forward. As I said to your children, despite her efforts to make the transition as smooth as possible, please expect some changes as Gev. Petrova is not me! That being said, I could not be more comfortable leaving knowing that my class will be in the best hands possible.
It has been a pleasure teaching your children thus far. Being a mom is the best thing in the world but I know I’ll be checking in frequently to see how your kiddos are doing….I miss them already!
