Today, students learned the importance of reading and writing a persuasive piece. Using our mentor text, I Wanna Iguana, students learned new
vocabulary words, and how to format a persuasive piece so that the reader is intrigued.
We also talked about important writing tools such as: a thesaurus, dictionary, post it notes and quick word.
