1 What did I do well? What did I learn? What is my evidence of this?
I did well with the Punnett squares and analyzing what the offspring will look like. I learned that the more practice I have even though it is really repetitive is helpful for me. The SpongeBob packet was full of Punnett square practice, I thought it was so boring and repetitive, but it actually helped me. So next time I will force my self to face repetitive examples.
2 What was challenging for me? What mistakes did I make? Why?
I think the most challenging thing for me was the explaining part, where I had to use the definitions to help me. I think that was challenging because I didn’t focus my studying on that because I thought I knew and understand the words really well. So next time I will study really well unless I am overly confident about my skill in that specific part. I made simple mistakes on one of the Punnett square problems. I needed to slow down and actually look at how I labeled my Punnet square, which was labeled correctly. I made this mistake because I was rushing. I learned from that that I need to slow down and actually look at what I am doing, and also to go back and check my answers.
3 What will I do next to move forward in my learning?
I will put this test behind me and focus on studying hard and managing my time so I don’t make silly mistakes. I will also take time to learn the new vocab really well so I don’t mess up on that again.
4 What questions do I have?
I don’t have any questions because I understand what I did wrong and I fixed them.
