Explain what event was most influential in starting the Civil War.

In my opinion, the battle of Fort Sumter was the most influential in starting the Civil War. I think that this was influential because it was the first real battle and I believe that it was the thing that ticked people off the mot.
Explain what battle from the Civil War had the biggest impact on America

I think that the Battle of Gettysburg had the biggest impact on America. I think this because of the number of casualties, so deaths and people who were injured. After the battle of Gettysburg Lincoln came out and read the Gettysburg address. I also believe this had the biggest impact because this was the battle to end all battles but General Meade let the south retreat.
Explain what the North and the South were fighting for during the Civil War.

The north was fighting to end slavery and to get the CSA back into America. The south was fighting to keep slavery and for states rights.
Why is the Civil War important?

The Civil War was important because it reshaped America. Before and during the Civil War, America was basically mini countries inside a big country. However, after the Civil War America was more reunited and was referred to as a whole country.
