For the last two weeks, we have been dissecting Sea Lamprey and Perch and there were some, differences. The Sea Lamprey smelled really bad and the perch had all the eggs in one spot but the lamprey had them all over the place. The lamprey had a suction cup mouth with sharp teeth white the perch had no sharp teeth. The perch was farmed while the lamprey was caught off fish.

Lampreys are nasty creatures. Never seen one in person. Must have been cool. You mentioned that there were some similarities between the two species but you only listed differences. I’m curious to know what their similarities are.

There was one similarity and that was that both fish are freshwater fish.
