What materials did you choose for your build and why?

Wood because it is sturdy and doesn’t take long for the glue to set.

Here is a picture of my first attempt at the building process:

While you test:

What are you noticing?

Model is too big fo stairs because the stairs are to thin.

What things are working?

It’s holding up because I made the model light for that reason.

What things are not working?

Stairs are to narrow and the model cannot get a grip.

How will you tweak this? Make this better? (Be specific and detailed!)

Make the model more flexible and staircase bigger and wider.

Do you need any new materials? If so, WHY?

No, unless I use plastic or model magic for my model.

Sketch your new design with labels on a piece of paper. Make sure your drawing is detailed and specifically labeled.

Insert your sketch here:

Why will this new design work better than your first attempt? What is your evidence?

It will work better than my old design because it will be sturdier and be more supported because we have more wood and it is wider for even more support.
