On monday we went to madison and saw the Capital Building, the campus of UW Madison, the Cattle Center and the Geology Museum in Madison. I went with my dad. I learned that in 2017 all the people on the campus have a total of over 40,000 people. Something that suprisided me was that the avrage cow weighed 1600 pounds! Next we saw a 3 hour old calf, 3 hours!!!!! My favorite part was when we went to the Capital Building. The Capital Building had tons litterally tons of REAL GOLD. My favorite part was when we ate dounuts after the Capital Building.

It was so much fun to experience this with you! So did you like the donuts or the Capitol building better?
1. What do they do at the Cattle Center? Is that where they make ice cream for the campus?
2. Did you see the actual birth of the baby cow, or just the cow after it was born?
3. Where do you get these donuts from? I have been there a few times, but never offered anything delicious to eat!
What did you learn about Geology? Anything about the types of rocks in Wisconsin or the glaciers of the Ice Age?
What doughnut did you get?
