student blogging challenge #1

https://charat.me/origin/create/

this is my avatar. i recently got a haircut, which is why it looks a little different than my last one. i was originally going to draw it, but i got lazy. anyways, this avatar represents me because i always wear a green hoodie because it is my favorite color and also because it’s comfy. i chose a chibi editor because that is usually my art style.

sukkah 19

1. Now that the Sukkah is finished, what would you do differently next time? Explain in at least three sentences why you think that.
I would definitely plan how much we were going to spend because now the sukkah does not have enough plywood and there are holes. I would also sketch a plan out how we’re gonna decorate it because now it’s a lot of random stuff crammed together. I also wished that we had a little more time but it’s also our fault for being so distracted.
2. Now that the Sukkah is finished, what are you most proud of and why! Explain in at least three sentences.
I really like the skach because I think it looks pretty with all the different types of branches. I also love the whiteboard because that means we can draw on it. I also really like how nice the window looks
3. What are three pieces of advice you have for the current 6th graders as it relates to their Sukkah?

figure out what to spend the money on each thing, don’t waste as much time as we did, HAVE MORE PLYWOOD.

Cornell notes reflection

Directions: Answer each of these questions in no less than 2 sentences and put them in your blog. Use your notes if you need to, take your time!

Did you use the websites provided to you for this activity? Did they help? Explain.

yes because the information was pretty easy to find. they sorta helped because they helped with most of the information but some was missing.

How do you think you can use your Cornell notes in the future?

I’m not sure. maybe if there is a test about this in the future?

What are 3 new things you learned from researching the colonies in this way? (This one you can just bullet point if you’d like)

I don’t have my notes with me right now so I kinda forgot…

Why did we do this activity?

to learn more about the 13 colonies. and also to help with our Google search operators.

How did you research for this activity?

I looked on google classroom.  went on a random site and read it and wrote down any information that was useful.

What were the biggest challenges you encountered during this activity?

finding out certain questions because some were really tricky. also, even google couldn’t help me!

How did you overcome your challenges?

re-reading the sites google classroom had to see if I missed something. ( i still can’t find anything)
