Today we did the second Repairing Together. This time we went to First Stage. We talked about Ruby Bridges and read a story about her. This is why I think we do Repairing Together: because we want to know people who are a different religion than us and have a different background. It is like what you told me about why like playing basketball. There are people who have a different skin color than you and a different background. Why do we do it with other schools?  We do it with other schools because we want to learn more things about each other. Some of us speak different languages than each other like we speak a little Hebrew and Bruce Guadalupe speaks Spanish. Why did we talk about Ruby Bridges? Because some of us are a different skin color but even if you are a different skin color you can go to the same school. The snack was really good because it was cookies. First Stage was fun!

Yesterday, when I went to RDC, we played a lot of games. My favorite was when we had to get to one island to another island. I learned you have to use teamwork to get across. The way to have good teamwork is by listening to other’s ideas. It is also a memory game because you have to remember where other person went and Shelby said yes to where they went.

Today at Urban Ecology Center it was so much fun. I was with Milwaukee College Prep  and Bruce Guadalupe. We had a partner for the hike. My partner’s names were Alexandra and Alvia. They were really nice. I learned that they can speak Spanish.

I am selecting My first time going to Disney World because I have a lot of information about it.

Right now in my book club book is called :Dragon Dilemma. I like my book I chose because it has a lot of action and I love action books. I learned in the last chapter that Miss Chinatown’s crown got stolen and the crown has a ruby on it and I am afraid that the person who stole it is going to sell it for a lot of money. The book is really good!!!!!!!!!!

Gratitude means grateful.  I am grateful for a lot of things like my family. I am grateful for my family because they are really nice to me and I like that my Grandma lets me and Nora and my cousins have chocolate milk in the morning and also sometimes watch TV in the morning and I am also thankful that my Aunt Sunny makes delicious birthday cakes . Thank you for using your money and sending me to Camp Interlaken .My whole class is thankful we had two healthy chicks even though there was a power outage. I am grateful or my toys you get me and last but not least I am grateful for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We read Gev. Dowling’s favorite book called the Secrets of Mrs. Snickle’s class and we made the same thing but it is called the Secrets of Gev. Dowling’s class. This is my secret : My name is Hallie and I may look like a regular girl in Gev. Dowling’s class, but I have a secret. When I touch candy there’s a slide to replace it. It is not any slide. It is a candy slide and I get to go down and eat the candy. There is also a button and I get to type in where I want to go. I learned this secret when I bought a pack of kit kats. To be continued…….

Adon Lippman are class likes Reflex better than Dream box. We want you to get Reflex. It has more math problems than Dream box. It also can help people with division and multiplication. And in Dream box it has things that you already know. And in Reflex you get to earn goals and there is a store you can buy accessories and clothing. You get tokens to go in the store but first you have to get a whole green circle in the top circle. You can also earn new games after it says zero days but first it says five days so you to wait five days. So pleas get Reflex.

Tuesday we had our first town meeting. Maya was the Bailiff, Sarina was the Plaintiff, Noah was the defendant and as you know Max is the Judge. The case was that Mr. Mouse(Noah) took Mrs. Pizza(Sarina) pizza that was a really special pizza that her parents the owners of the pizza company had made. Everybody was a witness for Sarina. Noah was guilty. We had to think of a consequence for Noah.  The consequence was he always had to go out in the hallway with someone with him. It was really fun.

Hi mommy and daddy I was doing Buenos Aires and La Boca for Global Experience. And this is what I said about Buenos Aires:

– capital of Argentina

– largest port in South America

– people are called Portenos

–  4 million people live there

– speak mostly Spanish but also Portuguese, Italian and German

– some foods are asada ( barbecue beef) dulce de leche and empanadas – famous for cafes and tango

– It has a president ( Mauricio Marci) and he lives in the pink house

Now this is what I said about La Boca:

– neighborhood ( barrio ) of Buenos Aires

– Buildings and houses have bright colors

– Famous for their soccer team ( Boca Juniors)

– Many artists live there.
