Today, Ms. Brooke from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, came to speak to us about a program that 3rd and 4th grade will be in charge of. The program is called Pennies for Patients. It is a service learning program that helps raise crucial funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest nonprofit fighting blood cancer.

lease look for a letter in your child Friday folder on how to set up a fundraising page. We will also have little boxes to collect money, and large boxes for our classroom. Our goal is to raise $3,000!

We will be having our PJ/stuffed animal day tomorrow! No slippers!

We will watch part of the BFG during lunch since that is our class read-aloud!!!
