  1. Hello,
Thanks for sharing your 5 tips for commenting. I am trying to make my Grade 2 students understand that random emojis don’t belong in comments.

I really enjoy the background image you chose for your blog. I love the way the leaves change colour in the fall. Will you change it when the season changes and the leaves are no longer colourful?

I hope you are having a lovely Sukkot! I teach at a Jewish day school in Canada and my students loved our Sukkah hop celebration we had on Friday.

    • Hi,
Thank you so much for taking the time to look through my blog and respond to multiple different topics. I really appreciate it.

That is so cool that your 2nd graders are in this blogging challenge! Im sure that they will learn over time that emojis arent the best use in a blog.

I also love how the leaves change color in fall. It is so beautiful! Good question about changing the background from the leaves to something else. Im not sure yet if I will change it or not. I guess it will be a surprise!

That is so cool that you teach at a Jewish day school in Canada! The Sukkah hop sounds like fun! Glad your students enjoyed it!

I hope we can continue to connect throughout this challenge!

  2. Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to share your Guidelines for Commenting! I am working to teach my 8th graders how to make quality comments.

I was interested that you were Jewish and celebrating Sukkot. I am not familiar with the holiday so I tried, unsuccessfully, to view your About Me page.

    Have a lovely day,
    Mrs. Richards

    • Hi,
Thank you so much for the kind comment!

That is so cool that you are teaching your 8th graders about quality commenting! I hope all is going well with that.

That is so nice that you are interested about Sukkot and tried to learn more about it. Thank you for taking the time to do so.

In summary, the holiday of Sukkot is about remebering when the Jews were in the desert and built booths(Sukkot) as shelter. We remember this holiday by each autumn(during the harvest) building Sukkot.

If you would like a more in depth understanding of what Sukkot is, you can visit:

I hope to connect more as the challenge continues.
