- My favorite exhibit that we visited was “Old Milwaukee” because I love history and I love learning about different people in the world and who came to Milwaukee for their different and interesting reasons.
- What is one new thing you learned at the museum yesterday?
- One new thing I learned at the Museum yesterday is that people who live in Japan are almost like ‘Munks” in a way.What I mean by this is that a lot of people who live in Japan are very simple and they ONLY have what they need,not what they want.They also spend a lot of their time being mindful and doing yoga and meditating.(Also not ALL people who live in Japan do this,only some people do)I wonder if the people who do this,do this all day in Japan?!I also wonder what their daily routine would be like?!
- Which exhibit do you think you’ll highlight in your poem? Why?
- I think I will highlight “Old Milwaukee” or the “Butterfly Room” because for Old Milwaukee I love history and people’s stories behind why they came to Milwaukee and I would also do the Butterfly room because butterflies in my opinion are just so pretty and GRACEFUL and they all come in such cool sizes,shapes,and colors!
