Sukkah Purchasing Day

1. Describe a situation when you collaborated well with your group yesterday (make sure to set the scene: what were you doing, what happened, how did you feel).

We helped each other with carrying the wood, we all held on and walked to put it on the cart. I would say more but this was literally the only time we collaborated because we were just so riled up the entire day, and because we were all just tired, the only thing we did was yell at each other, then get angry at each other.

2. Provide a specific example of a time when you did not collaborate well with your group yesterday (make sure to set the scene: what were you doing, what happened, how did you feel).

Me and someone else were having an argument on how big the walls should be and we ended up yelling at each other. This solved nothing but we were both having a bad time and took out our anger on each other.

3. For your specific example of your struggles, how would you change your behavior/actions next time so as to do better. Be specific on what you would do.

I struggled with being angry with people, I was just angry at everyone for no reason. What I should have done was to take a deep breath and talk to them calmly, or just walk away, but because I wasn’t thinking I ended up just yelling at everyone.

4. Explain how well you planned (what you need to buy and how much) and executed that plan (actually did what you said you were going to do).

We did not plan well, we went over budget, we got the number of studs wrong, everything was just wrong, even when we double-checked our work we were still 3 studs off. We ended up having to shorten our wall by 4 feet… thats how bad we planned.

Here we are getting wood onto the carts.

Here we are paying for the wood.
