Today is friday today we talked about how people with bad health and a little money deal with medical bills we also learned that 11 million people enrolled in medicaid under the ACA.

On Monday we did cornell notes on Medicare, medicaid, whats going on with medicaid, and we were going to do researcher on departments. On tuesday and wednesday we had health instead of social studies because the teacher had meetings.

Today is the 10th of January,

Today we started off class by cleaning our lockers, then we left comments from international kids blog posts which was really cool because they made different masked about themselves. Today we are getting paid, I’m excited because we are getting paid but I am not because that means I have to pay my utilities, taxes, chair rent, table rent, student loan, and taxes.

Yesterday we read an article about how teens want the minimum wage to be $15. The minimum wage in WI is $7.25. The homework was to finish the article and go over our P&L statement documents.

Today we had to complete a form of math questions for a warm up. Our homework today is to finish writing our checks because we are not aloud to do it during to in class. We also read chapter 1 of our book “evicted” and we answered some question about the book on each page.

Today in class we paid our rent, taxes, loans,utilities and is we had to pay our fines. We also got paid today utilities and rent went up because its around the holidays. Happy Holidays!

Yesterday we looked at a picture and answers. This week we worked on learning about being/getting evicted. We also worked on taking a picture and google searching it and find an article about the picture.

Today in class we worked on our “I Can” Self-Assessment  and we worked on our poverty book and questions. This week there was a job application that you could do and you checked the checks, a few kids applied.

In social studies we did our blogging challenge number 8. We also learned about taxes and ;earned that 6.2% of every check goes to Social Security, 1.45% of every check goes to Medicare, and for us 7.65% goes to Adon Kaufman.

Today instead of math we learned how to do our P&L (profit and loss) statements automatically with our computers. We also learned how to make is so it does the math for our weekly expenses for us so it will be easier when we have to put in our information about out checks that we are receiving from people and the checks we are sending out to other people.
