Sukkah Day 3

. On Friday, we worked on our organization of our purchasing plan. We are  organized with our purchasing because we have our spreadsheet filled out.
2. My level of organization has helped our Sukkah project so far. An example of this is when I found the cost of our wood I brought the number of boards by getting the schools wood.

Reflection On Clue

  • What thinking moves did you use when playing this game (questioning, connecting, listening, observing, deducing, reasoning, etc? I connected what I thought were the dots for the final guess. I said that there was a small chance for all of these people to be right.

  • How did organizing your information impact your experience playing the game?

IT didn’t because I just remembered everything I learned.

  • Where else do you use these thinking skills (at school, at home, on sports teams, etc)?

To remember stuff and to organize well.

If you are a cop and there was a murder in a mansion.

  • What information seems most important to collect? The people and weapons.
  • *What is the difference between an observation and information? Observation is when you take in information. and the information is facts.

What materials did you choose for your build and why?

We used all of the materials that were on the packet.

Here is a picture of my plan:

Here is a picture of my first attempt at the building process:

it was our plan except without a top.

While you test:

What are you noticing?

We have to work everything. There is nothing she can do by herself.

What things are working?

The tower is standing up and sturdy.

What things are not working?

The rope is coming off and the slime is hard as a rock.

How will you tweak this? Make this better? (Be specific and detailed!)

I would make something else that isn’t made out of the slime.

Do you need any new materials? If so, WHY?

Yes, I need any materials that would make the other thing because I don’t want to make anything out of the slime.

What is your new plan? My new plan is to make a tower out of wood, make Rapunzel out of tin foil, braid our rope for Rapunzel to make thicker, make a slide out of our old tower.

Why will this new design work better than your first attempt? What is your evidence?

It is more sturdy and it is more realistic.
