1. Explain the role/job you have been assigned for our Classroom Economy.
I’m a sanitation engineer. I basically have to clean up after everyone. I have to wipe the whiteboard, tables and chairs, vacuum the floors, and and pick up everyone’s trash for only 140 dollars per week.
2. What are you most excited/nervous about for our Classroom Economy?
I am going to loose money fast. I’m a very messy person and will have to be fined a lot. The fines are about 20 dollars. I’M GOING TO GO BANKRUPT. 🙁 I won’t be able to afford anything! And I’m going to get a really bad grade!
3. In my mind, poverty is caused by people who can’t afford education and therefore can’t get jobs that will pay well.
