Index Card Challenge

Today’s Challenge: Using only an index card and a scissors find a way to cut your index card so you can fit your entire body through it.

Teamwork Rubric Focus ( organization):

My goal for organization/planning today within my team is…

To document in my blog very well, meaning detailed and long responses.

My Individual Plan

My plan is to cut a little hole and then that is the part of the non-hole. The rest of the universe is the hole.

Why I think my plan will be successful:

Three people can fit in the universe, right? 🙂

Our Group’s Plan

We chose this plan because…

We could the index card the most.

Possible challenges that may come up during construction…

the index card breaking

Each team member will be responsible for…

cutting,fitting through and documenting.

After the Build

Our design worked well because…

WE F.A.L.E ( first attempt in learning)

This activity was challenging because…

we physically had to fit through the index card

This activity was comfortable because….

IT WAS NOT COMFORTABLE

I met my teamwork organization/planning goal by…

I did not meet my goal.

A strength of my team was….

we worked fast.

An area of growth for my team is…

Slowing down and thinking.

For our next challenge, my new teamwork organization/planning goal for myself is….

plan before do.

Sincerely,

  1. Thanks for all the details. That is a clever loophole — considering the whole world a hole! 🙂

I am little confused, though, about how working fast is a strength but slowing down is something that needs to be worked on…

    Thanks again for sharing!

  2. Even though you may have not completed the whole challenge, I was impressed with what you created in class. I think if you would have had a few more minutes you and your group could have completed the challenge, which is something to be proud of!

I would love it if you could please go back and add more detail to your responses. For example, why was the challenge not comfortable? Why did you not meet your goal?

Also, please make sure to go back and read through your blog post before publishing it to make sure there are no mistakes.
