We got the project done.
What was challenging?
Some of my group members were off task and making things harder on the rest of us.
Was there anything you would do differently if given this task again?
I would plan ahead more and give everyone a chance to help.
How did group roles help your team?
They didn’t.
After this experience, are there any changes you would make to group roles?
Make sure everyone is following them.
I have to work in groups often and it can be frustrating and time consuming. I often think about how much faster I would complete a task if left to do it alone. What I appreciate most about group work though, is when we are able to ask the right questions and solve the problem together. It makes the frustration worthwhile. What do you think you could do differently next time, beyond holding everyone accountable to their roles, so that you are all working well together?
I’m not sure. Maybe getting everyone involved would be helpful.
