Answer the following questions in the comment section based on the picture. Make sure you are using complete sentences and that your reasoning makes sense.
- How many puzzle pieces are there?
- How do you know? ( Explain the different math equations you used).
10×6 is 60 but there is 3 missing so 60-3 is 57. So there are 57 pieces.
40 la nth times with
I counted the columns and rows.and then I subtracted 3.51 is the answer
The answer is 51 and I did 9*6-3 which= 51
There are 47 there and three missing
There are 51 puzzle pieces. I figured it out by measuring the length and the width. That makes 54. Then there are 3 pieces missing so I subtract 3 from 54 and that makes 51. BOOM! I DID IT! PRAISE ME! PRAISE ME!
be careful did you count them each individually?
I will do 9*6=54
6×8=48 peaces
I did area and perimeter
There are 51 puzzle pieces. I multiplied what it would be if there were no pieces missing by counting the two adjacent sides, which equaled 54. Then I subtracted 3 from 54, which got me to 51 puzzle pieces.
31 because i counted
did u count each 1 individually?
47 not including the not filled in but 50 if it was filled
I multiplied 9*6. Then subtracted 3.
The answer is 33.
The answer is actually 51
51 is the answer I did 9×6=54 and then there was 3 missing so I subtract 3 and I got 51
I think that there are 47 pieces there, but 50 in total. 3 pieces are missing. I know because I counted.
I did 6*9=54 then -3 and you have 51
6*9=54-3=51
I counted 47. I did a double check to make sure.
I think that there are 47 pieces. But three are missing.

My papa and I noticed there were 6 pieces in each horizontal row and 9 rows. 9×6=54 -3 = 51 since 3 pieces were missing.
