Jewish Studies Midrash

This is the questions I answered about the midrash:

What is a explanation of what this method is and what it means:

This method is saying that god said both words-remember and observe-at the same time and either Moses only heard one or he just only wrote down one and told the Jews the other one later. I also like midrashes in general because they are fun.

Why do I like the method/midrash:

I like this midrash because it explained why it was different in Deuteronomy and what a possible explanation is for it being different was so people wouldn’t be confused or anything like that.

What is wrong with this method/ what don’t I like about it:

It said that Moses heard both, but only wrote down one and told the Jews the other one later. This doesn’t make sense because how would he hear two things at once? And if he did, couldn’t he just write down both? He could have written something like: Observe AND remember Shabbat. Also why would he need to tell the Jews the other version? They could probably only hear one version, so Moses telling them another version might make them really confused or they could even get mad at Moses!
