Describe a situation when you collaborated well with your group yesterday (make sure to set the scene: what were you doing, what happened, how did you feel).

We were at Lowes picking washers, carage bolts, nails and nuts and almost all of us were working and played our part. one of us found the carage bolts while me and another person were looking for washers and nuts that would fit.

2. Provide a specific example of a time when you did not collaborate well with your group yesterday (make sure to set the scene: what were you doing, what happened, how did you feel).

We were at Restore and we were finding studs. I didn’t collaborate with my group well at that time because I wasn’t helping. The rest of the group was doing all of the work so I just sat there drawing on the back of the supply list.

3. For your specific example of your struggles, how would you change your behavior/actions next time so as to do better. Be specific on what you would do.

I would help and/or share ideas, like how there weren’t going to be any studs of the right size where they were looking.
4. Explain how well you planned (what you need to buy and how much) and executed that plan (actually did what you said you were going to do).

It was mostly the rest of the group planning exactly what we needed to get because I was mostly helping decide decor (and they didn’t have what we needed) and do the math to find the length of certain pieces of wood that were small enough to find in the maker space. When we were actually getting the stuff my group told me what we needed so I just helped find it.

  1. Sounds like you found a way to work together with the group. I’m glad to see it.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the final product turns out to be.
