Today’s Challenge: Using only newspaper, 24 inches of tape, and one scissors, you and your partner need to create one shoe that fits either you or your partner’s foot. The shoe must be able to come on and off without falling apart.

My goal for communication today within my team is to let other people do stuff before I do it.

 

My Individual Plan 

Why I think my plan will be successful: It is simple, and won’t be hard to take on and off.

 

Our Group’s Plan  

We’re doing my plan. If it doesn’t work, we’re going to use my group mate’s plan as a back-up. His plan is to just have one piece on top and one on the bottom taped together to fit which ever one of us has smaller feet. (me)

 

We chose this plan because we both agreed to it.

 

Possible challenges that may come up during construction is that it might fall apart. The pieces coming out of the bottom might not go in well.

 

Each partner will be responsible for working on the project.

 

After the Build

 

Our design worked well because you can get it on and off easly.

 

This activity was challenging because there ended up just barely being enough tape.

 

This activity was comfortable because we knew what we were doing.

 

I met my teamwork communication goal by-I don’t think I met my goal because I did most of the work.

 

A strength of my partnership was we didn’t fight about anything.

 

An area of growth for my partnership is for me to not be as bossy.

 

For our next challenge, my new teamwork communication goal for myself is to let other people do more things.
