Which tefilah elective have you been in?

The elective I am in is glee club.

Describe what you have been doing in your elective.

In glee club, we sing more fun and active versions of Jewish songs or prayers. Some people play instruments instead. I am one of those people. I play guitar.

What has been the best or most meaningful part of this elective?

The most meaningful part is we make the Jewish songs and prayers we sing fun, active, and cheerful to sing, play, or listen to. It’s also really fun to play guitar to the songs we sing.

What is one thing you have learned in your tefilah elective?

That singing prayers isn’t always boring and can be really fun and active.

What is one thing you would change or improve about your elective?

What I think should improve is that we shouldn’t learn things we’re not going to sing or play. Other than than, I think glee club is pretty fun.

What (related to your tefilah elective) do you still wonder about?

I don’t really wonder anything.

If there is anything else you want to share about your elective, please add it.

We are going to play the songs we learned at a Friday night service.
