Time for Kids

In Time for Kids I read a really cool article about Cheetahs. I liked the article because I like cheetahs and so does Joris Hutchison. Once he found out that cheetahs might be extinct he made it his job to help cheetahs. He started raising money and selling T-shirts and lemonade standsĀ  and flowers and with all that money combined he had $14,000. That is a lot of money. All of the money is going to a wild life sanctuary in Namibia that is a country in Africa. The money is used to by collars to track the cheetahs. The collars help the cheetahs not get killed. I think that this is so cool.

  1. I did not know that cheetahs are near extinction. Joris sure did raise a lot of money — $14,000!!?? Wow. The collars sound neat, too. You learned a lot from that article, Noah.

  2. As you know, we read Time for Kids in second grade too. I think the articles are interesting. I think it would be cool to be one of their reporters.
