I am doing the most common language of Peru which is Spanish. It is really fun doing Global Experience. Parents can come tomorrow.
I chose Spanish because I think it is important to know a different language if you ever go to a different country.
In order for me to study this language I needed to pronounce the word two or maybe even three times. I also needed to ask my teacher how to say the word. I wanted to do about twenty five words. It took me a long time to learn twenty five words. I researched a lot and read a lot about Peru Spanish. I used my i pad to record the twenty five words I said at first you could’t really hear the words that I recorded because everyone was talking. So my teacher had the idea from another classmate that was using headphones. So then my teacher said to me that I should have headphones to use. So then I got headphones and then I was all ready. Then the first class the first class was second grade. Then when the next class that came I noticed that I had wipes at my station I asked my teacher why are there wipes at my station and she said the wipes are here to wipe the headphones. now I was all ready. Global Experience was so fun!!
I can’t wait to hear you speak Spanish tomorrow, Noah!
Hi Noah!
It sounds like you learned alot & had fun while doing it. I am very proud of you. Keep it up. You’re my pride & joy.
Noah, it sounds like you put a lot of effort into learning Spanish. You were well prepared. There are so many countries in the world that speak Spanish. I wonder if what you have learned will get you excited about taking Spanish as a class in the future? I learned a lot about Peru from you and you classmates. Thank you!
