Reflection
- Write a short (1-2 sentence) summary of your idea to improve Milwaukee Jewish Day School.
- How do you feel your presentation went?
I think it went well but I would have wanted more time to talk about how we were going to present together.
- How did you feel during your presentation?
I felt like we were presenting about something that is important and can help the school. I also felt that we had an idea that we could actually do that would not be a lot of money or very hard working to get there.
- What was it like to be asked hard questions by your classmates?
I liked that my classmates asked me questions because it gave me a feeling of what they feel about our idea.
- What was it like to be asked hard questions by Gev. Denny and Adon Lippman?
It was not hard to talk in front of Gev. Denny and my dad because: 1 Gev. Denny was not even there for my presentation and 2 because I was presenting to my dad.
- How do you think Abraham felt after arguing with God about Sodom and Gomorrah?
I think he felt AWESOME because he could possibly save two cities and did not get killed by G-d
- Compare how you felt presenting your idea to how Abraham might have felt debating with God. How do you think you felt similar? How do you think you felt different?
I felt the same as Abraham because we were proposing something to someone who has power to make something change in the school. I definitely felt different then Abraham because I was talking to my dad.
I hope you implement your ideas. Talk with your classmates and teachers about how to work together to make a difference in our school.
I love the way you look at the positive, and you know Abraham felt AWESOME! I think I might have gotten stuck on the feeling TERRIFIED until it was over.
