Testing our Rapunzel Creations

What materials did you choose for your build and why? Clay, water and cardboard. They were the easiest materials to use that we could find.

Here is a picture of my plan: I can’t.

Here is a picture of my first attempt at the building process: I can’t show you.

While you test:

What are you noticing? If she will survive and be free from the tower! And will not drown!

What things are working? Everything that was supposed to work. (Rapunzel leaving the tower living and the tower not falling apart.)

What things are not working? Nothing, everything is working and nothing is falling  except for Rapunzel.

How will you tweak this? Make this better? (Be specific and detailed!)

We are going to make a zip line to the water so that she can land safely and leave the tower.

Do you need any new materials? If so, WHY? We need a string to make the zip line, a person in my group knows how to make it because he is the master of ziplines!

Sketch your new design with labels on a piece of paper. Make sure your drawing is detailed and specifically labeled I can’t show you.

Why will this new design work better than your first attempt? What is your evidence? It is more realistic and we planned it out more than we did with the old version. And we are making her be more sturdy and make her stand up.
