- What did you learn about leadership from the Jewish Supreme Leader (JSL) election project? I learned that people are leaders in different ways.
- Through the stories of the leaders we studied, what are some positive ideas the Torah teaches us about leadership? Everybody makes mistakes.
- What are some negative ideas the Torah teaches us about leadership? People still make mistakes.
- If you could create the ideal JSL, what would that person be like their qualities, their personal story, their weaknesses? Why? They would be a nice but savage talking pug that tries to take over the world.
- How do you think leadership has changed from Torah times to modern times? How is it still similar? Old ways to newer ways. It’s not very similar.
- How does the JSL election change the way you think about leadership? Why? I didn’t know about a lot of the people and I thought it was only famous leaders until now.
Your recognition that “people make mistakes” is both a positive model in the Torah and a negative one is profound. Nicely done!
