1. What do you like about your initial design? I don’t know what I liked about our car. I didn’t really think that anything was that good about it other than that it didn’t fail completely and it actually went sort of far.
2. What has been challenging about the initial design? Things that have been challenging are that my partner and I keep fighting over our design and how to make it better. Also right before we were supposed to present our spool car it broke so we had to quickly fix it so we could still present.
3. How well did your racer perform in the first race? Did it go far? Fast? Our spool racer performed in an okay manner. It didn’t go too far but it didn’t stay in place.
4. How will you modify your design for the second race? What variables do you feel will affect how far and fast the racer goes? We will modify our design for our racer by moving the rubber band that was around it to a different spot so that it wouldn’t slow down the spool car.
5. What have been your strengths and challenges during the design process? The strengths that my group has had are that we work fast when we have any Ideas and that we test and try a bunch of ideas when we have them if our current idea isn’t working.
6. What questions do you have? If our idea doesn’t work how should we get it to work?

Hey, BW! I think the project you did was pretty cool. I did something like that were in a group I had to make a shelter/structure with materials we brought in ourselves. The shelter had to withstand things like water, pebbles, a fan, and an earthquake (which was us shaking the table).
