3rd Grade Toolboxes

Happy New Year! As I grow in this area, I will begin to talk more with students and share my observations in future vlogs.

Check out the latest video from my ‘Walking the halls’ vlog. What you are seeing is the last stage of an amazing project the 3rd grade class decided to embark on. As students continue to cultivate a love of reading, they wanted to build toolboxes to keep their books in. The journey has included learning how to use hammers, saws, drills and measuring tape to design personalized boxes. I am so proud of the collaboration and persistence of our 3rd graders. Ask them about their experience and how it is driving their love of learning. Please also visit Gev. Voras’ blog to see more –

  1. We were just talking about it today in the staff lounge! So cool to see it in action. I can’t wait to see the finished products.
