So I just went to this play today it was Matilda a.k.a (Albert Einstein redo) so the play is basically about this A+++ girl who is about to start kindergarten when she should be  starting college and has stupid parents who know nothing about the meaning of life. I liked the play because it was so good.

My family my moms and dads side immigrated.  My moms moms mom immigrated from Russia in 1905 by boat and went through Ellis island and my moms dads side immigrated from Germany and went through Ellis island                       My moms side came by boat.     Something similar was that my moms dads side were German like a lot of mke immigrants.

1.how is my one word goal going. Good because  it is easy now to listen now that I have worked on it.                                                 2.What is going well at school for me? Math because it was always my best.                           3.What is challenging? Social studies because it’s a little hard to take notes for me.  

My one word goal is listen. I chose it because I have been needing to work on it. This is how I will accomplish it by not skipping ahead and doing all the work. 

Today in math we did a sort of a review of yesterday it was proving our work      with a drawing. I liked it. We not only have to answer the questions, we have to prove it using a proof drawing.

what book did I read: Dolphins at Daybreak.

Did I enjoy book club: I think it went okay. I liked didn’t like the project at first but once we got in to it  l liked it. 

How did my project go: rough at first then it went up with some arguing but then we finished good.

Today we went First Stage. We went  with two other schools. We were there to learn about Ruby Bridges. We learned about racism and other stuff about skin color problems and how some Americans didn’t treat dark skinned people fairly. I think we are doing this program because to teach us not to be racist and to get to know people that may be different than us.

Yesterday we went to rdc a.k.a. rainbow day camp. It was for  team building games we did laser tag,a balloon thing and a puzzle thing which was competitive and it did not need to be that competitive. Because we forgot what we were supposed to be doing for the activity. I really struggled with being competitive.  I need to work on this.

Our class went to the Urban Ecology Center. There were with two other schools we had seen one before in second grade . One was Milwaukee college prep and Bruce Guadalupe. P.S. did you know that toy stores didn’t exist in the 1800s?         Something I learned about my friend is that he likes video games.

I am writing about LA because it is a cool memory! I have a lot to say about this memory.
