Theology of the rich rabbi: He takes everything for granted and just assumes everything will be perfect because he is very fortunate. Theology of poor rabbi: He pays attention to each, specific situation and works for himself. He isn’t oblivious (unlike the rich rabbi) and he is aware of what is going on in each situation. That is how he survives.
Which theology is closer to your own beliefs, and why? I would say that the theology of the poor rabbi is closer to my own beliefs. I think a similar way that he does. I don’t take everything for granted and just assume everything will work out fine. I pay attention to each situation and am on the lookout if there is a problem. If a problem happens, I figure out how to solve it instead of just thinking everything will be fine and doing nothing about it.
