6th One Pager Reflection

My summer reading book was Alex Rider: Eagle Strike. I chose this book because my favorite genre to read is mystery and action. Fortunately, I got a 2 in 1 and thought this book was a hit! On my One-pager, I decided to do a quote that represents the book, a border that has a saying, a summary that describes the book, images of Alex Riders and the book cover, and the “#1 New York Times Bestselling author.” I picked these text features to put in my book because it shows the book on what its about, the meaning, and what genre the book is to explain it to others and it shows that I have learned and discover the features in the book. One of my text features my quote “Saving the world one mission at a time” represents the main meaning of the book.

My first connection to the one-pager to the book is that I drew a Yacht because that represents Damian’s big yacht in France. My second connection to the one-pager to the book is the U.S. Flag and the English flag to show that Alex was working with the CIA when really he was from England. My third connection to the one-pager to the book is the book cover. I added this because whenever you book-talk a book you never read the inside, you never judge a book by its cover and you always read the back so you get a little hint of what the book is about. My fourth connection to the one-pager to the book is the quote “Saving the world one mission at a time.” which is the quote that is one every Alex Rider book that helps you understand the books meaning. My fifth connection to the one-pager to the book is the Genre meaning that I put on top of the Alex Rider image that helps people understand the genre so that if you like mystery this is a good book.
