Paper Tower Challenge

One of this week’s Science challenges was the “Paper Tower Challenge.” For the Paper Tower Challenge, we had to build the tallest tower out of an 8″x11″ piece of paper and 12″ of tape. My group had a plan to fold the piece into long rectangular prisms and put a piece of paper on top and repeat the process. Unfortunately, that did not work so we had to add rods that would help the force keep its balance. When we tried that it helped but did not succeed and the timer ran out so we couldn’t finish. If the tower stayed up it would have been about 29 inches or 2′ 5”. This week was awesome and I can’t wait to try some more challenges.
