I was writing about Aaron Rodgers and I had a lot  of fun writing. It was really hard finding information to write my book. If I would write another biography it would be about Ryan Braun.

I had my conferences and it went good. I was so proud of myself  to finish my 3rd grade conferences. I will keep working hard at school. I really like being in charge of the conference because I get to be the leader because it makes me feel like I am on top. 

We went on a field trip in Milwaukee and I learned about Gertie the duck and that she was found on a wooden post in the Milwaukee river. We went to city hall and I was really exited because that was the building I was working on and we almost got to the Mayor of Milwaukee.    Overall I liked the field trip.

I had a lot of fun on the math test but my favorite part was the bar grafts, line plots, and fraction bars. Nothing felt confusing for me and my attitude was good during the test, even if it didn’t make sense I still figured it out. I stuck with it for a full hour.

What is going well for me in school? Math because every time we have math and I don’t know a math problem if I think about it for awhile, I can always figure it out.

I don’t feel like I am having struggles right now. I enjoy school.

My class went to see Matilda it was so cool!!!!!!!!😀😊 My favorite part is Matilda’s story that she tells the librarian. 

I interview my family and I learned that my moms family is from Russia and they had a special menorah that is passed down. My dads family is from the Netherlands and came to Wisconsin in the 1930 or the 1920.The traditions we still do is a family reunion every year.

My one word goal is focusing. It is going really good because every time I go to class I remind my self to stay focus  and I do stay focus.  

I think what is going well for me is math because I never give up on a problem and if I need help I ask for help.  

A challenging thing for me is listing to friends when they need help. 

My word is FOCUS. I chose that word because I sometimes get distracted in math or independent read time. I will accomplish this goal by whispering to myself, ¨STAY FOCUSED.¨

I was learning MULTI ADDITION WORK. It is so fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is my favorite math unit of the year and I am learning them again and it is even better. We have to add multi digit numbers and then prove that we are right by showing a proof drawing and making new ones and tens and hundreds.
