11-27-17 we had science class. And we had a special guest no other than ldenny’s sister! And that’s not all she is also an engineer woohoo! She talked to us about what an engineer does. She also talked to us about the steps of being an engineer. So do you want to know what happened? We had to build paper airplanes with paper clips. And I decided to have 2 pieces of paper taped together, a paper clip on each side, a paper clip on the front an the back, and the bottom. Unfortunately, it didn’t work so well. The front got bent so it moved to the left and hit the wall and fell down. And that’s pretty much what happened that day in science class.

How did you come up with the idea for your paper airplane? Are you going to try again? I would love to hear about other attempts you might try. Maybe we could spend some time together working on these together if that is something interesting to you. I’m sure you could teach me a few things!
What did you think about the career of engineering? That is one of the professions my daughter is thinking about. Would you recommend it to her?
