Title: Newspaper Shoe Challenge

Today’s Challenge: Using only newspaper, 24 inches of tape, and one scissors, you and your partner need to create one shoe that fits either you or your partner’s foot. The shoe must be able to come on and off without falling apart.

 

Teamwork Rubric Focus (Communication):

 

My goal for communication today within my team is…not to be the boss in my group

 

My Individual Plan make a box of newspaper and then where it.

 

Why I think my plan will be successful:

 

Our Group’s Plan: build around the shoe then take it off.

 

We chose this plan because… we knew that it would work

 

Possible challenges that may come up during construction…loss of tape

 

Each partner will be responsible for… making the design 

 

After the Build

 

Our design worked well because…we could slip it on and off.

 

This activity was challenging because…we could not figure out what design to use.

 

This activity was comfortable because….it was easy

 

I met my teamwork communication goal by…not being the boss in my group

 

A strength of my partnership was….we did not argue

 

An area of growth for my partnership is… i don’t know this

 

For our next challenge, my new teamwork communication goal for myself is….to listen to all of the ideas in my group.
