Continents and Oceans

Our class has been working hard and doing a lot of research to learn more about our world. We have started learning about all of the continents and oceans. To enhance our own research, I have invited in staff members to share their experiences of visiting different continents with the class. Today we learned about Asia from Adon Kaufman and Europe from Gev. Petrova. The kids are really enjoying learning more about our world!

Did Hannah have anything to say about the Southern Ocean? We did some research to discover it was re-named as an Ocean about 20 years ago! I did not remember it as an Ocean and must have missed the memo!
Yes! We have definitely had discussions about some people thinking it is an ocean and some people who just think there are 4. Very interesting!
Number 1, that globe is awesome! I had the pleasure of acting like I was trying to outrun it ala Raiders of the Lost Ark. Number 2, Mia has been very vocal about what’s she’s learning in world studies including that Hong Kong trip. Very nice to hear!
