In the 1800s, they played marbles, ring around the rosy, guessing games and Cat’s Cradle. We played hot potato and drop the cloth pin the bottle. It was fun. I won hot potato. Boys and girls sat on different sides of the class. Back then you would use a big bucket with water. You would take a quick sip and then go back to your seat. At old schools there was kids with tons of different ages in one school room. You would start school when you were nine years old. Now we start school when we are 2 years old. I like learning about the 1800s.
