PAPER CHAIN CHALLENGE

Today’s Challenge: Using only provided materials (two pieces of construction paper, 1 pair of scissors, 1 ruler and one 12-inch strip of masking tape) create the longest paper chain possible.

Teamwork Rubric Focus:

My goal for teamwork today is… is to not be so bossy

My Individual Plan <insert photo of sketch and/or type out a plan> my plan would be to use my material wisely by not using all of it at once  because if I whereto mess up I would have  no more material  but if I used my material wisely by using my materials in a good way by being smart and tape paper together and the attache the ruler.

I think my plan will be successful: because it is a goal of mine

My Groups Plan <insert photo or sketch and/or type out a plan> we will roll up the paper into one thin tube and then we would tape it so that it would hold then we will tape a ruler to the bottom so its longer.

We chose this plan because… because we thought it was the best plan out of them all

Possible challenges that may come up during construction… it could break or not fit or hold or not be a chain

Each group member will be responsible for… LS is responsible for the ruler AJK job is tape and scissors AK job is paper.

After the Build

Our design worked well because… of the teamwork put in it

This activity was challenging because… we did bad

This activity was comfortable because…. having a group was comfortable because of the other ideas put into the project.

I met my teamwork goal by letting others have a chance to speak.

A strength of my team was…. having a good time in the group.

An area of growth for my team is… making a better paper chain.

For our next challenge, my new teamwork goal for myself is… making a huge project with everybody’s ideas in it.
