my very embarrassing conferences

At my conferences I got very embarrassed. It went really bad cause my parents found out that I doodle ad don’t really do my homework. And please don’t make fun of me but…I literally almost crawled under the table from embarrassment at Hebrew conferences. Now I don’t wanna ever have conferences in my life! and rabbi Barolsky told me to learn the alphabet to thanks giving. Its in two day!And I still don’t know it!
adios! signing off, Avochka (W.S.C.)

  1. I would not feel embarrassed about the conferences. It was a chance to talk aloud about the challenges and create a plan how to address them. Yes, it’s tough to talk about problems, especially for the first time. However, we all learn in the process, including parents and teachers. I understand that catching up with Hebrew is very hard, but please give it a try. You may not succeed completely by Thanksgiving, but your effort will be recognized. Don’t give up! Keep moving forward and smile! We love you!

  2. Hey, if you feel this way, it’s OK. Me and you will sit together under that table (or any other) and learn alefbet together. I’m not gonna let you down, cause I know how it feels.
Hugs to my favorite singer in the whole world.
    Tvoja Mamushka 😉

  3. Please don’t feel embarrassed! You have already learned SO MUCH Hebrew! I realize that Thanksgiving is already very close, and it’s okay if you don’t have it all by then, but I am still hoping that we can get you there soon–I think you will enjoy Hebrew much more when you are more comfortable with the alef-bet. Keep up your good, hard work!

  4. I fail all the time and never give up. Your first student-led conference may have been hard yet there is an opportunity to show growth at your Spring conference. The same is true for Hebrew. What are you doing to push yourself and what could you be doing differently?
