Publishing Party: We had a publishing party for our non-fiction books. I think mine is really good! I finally finished because I had to do 15 pages of illustrations. But, I finally finished!!

Drama: In Drama we are doing really fun games! I love the games. Some of the games are: Zip Zap Zop, Pass the Sound and What am I Doing. We are also doing commercials. My group for the commercials are Shiri in second grade, Maddy in second grade and Zoe in fourth grade. Our commercial is about a yellow shovel but we are pretending it is a picture hanger. Shiri is the narrator and me, Maddy and Zoe are the actors. What’s gonna happen is that Shiri (narrator) is going to say, ” Have you ever been like this family where you don’t have a hanger to hang your picture?” And then I will say (in a baby voice),”Mommy (talking to Zoe) I can’t find a picture hanger for my picture I made today in art!” Then Maddy (big sister) will say,”Here you go here’s a new picture hanger!” And then I say (in a baby voice),” Yayyyyyyy!” So that’s our commercial! I like drama!!!

Yearbook: We are making a second grade yearbook of things we did in second grade and second grade only. We also are doing something in the yearbook where we write about someone without using there name. But they will know if it is them. The main challenge is writing about them without using there name.

Read-a-thon: In the read-a-thon we have almost beat our new goal of 6,000 minutes. We totally past our 3,000 goal!!

Writer’s Workshop: We are now studying personal narratives. I love the unit of personal narratives!

Reader’s Workshop: In readers workshop we are learning about poetry. There are so many different kinds of poetry. There are ones with punctuation, no punctuation, wide text, small text, active one, calm one, long one and shorts ones. That is one of the reasons I like poetry.

Gym: Our track unit has gotten much better! I now sorta like it.
