What are we thankful for?

Where did it begin?

————————-

It all began a long time ago when the Pilgrims were on their voyage. They went on that really long boat ride to what is today called “America”.  After their long boat ride they arrived at America.  So why was this holiday called “Thanksgiving”? The truth is they called it Thanksgiving because on the day of the holiday, the pilgrims had a big harvest festival to give thanks to all the people around them.  But that still doesn’t answer our question, What should we be thankful for?

What should we be thankful for?

——————————————–

To start thanksgiving is a day of thanks! You can be thankful for whatever you want to be thankful for!

But you should be thankful for these specific things (not saying you have to.) 1. You should be thankful for the fact that you are alive! 2. You should be thankful that you have a family! Not everyone has one! 3. You should be thankful for people!

What can we as Jews be thankful for?

————————————————

We as jews should be thankful for one thing importantly: G-D! G-d is the creator of our universe our plants our trees and most importantly… US! G-D made the world become a thing! So do us all as Jews a favor, be thankful for G-D. Anything other than G-D, you can be thankful for! Just remember our history and try not to be thankful for something that you probably shouldn’t be thankful for.
