  1. What factors can lead to poverty?

 

One factor that can lead to poverty is bad education then you can get a good job.

Another factor that can lead to Poverty is the neighborhood you live in, this might affect you being able to get out of the neighborhood and going to other neighborhoods that hold schools.

 

  1. What circumstances can fuel long-term poverty?

 

One not having an education to learn. Another one would be not having enough money to get your child to school. You or your parents diagnosed with a bad sickness. And not having enough money to support your family.

 

  1. How can poverty affect succeeding generations?

 

One way that property might succeed in Generations is that the government is not able to help all poor people . then the poor people have babies and then they can’t do able to support their child so they give it up and then there are more ]poor people.

people who live in hoods near or around Milwaukee. another place would be growing areas, because the prices of housing will cost more

  1. As someone in this experience, tell your story.  Describe your experience. Tell us about the highs and the lows.  What were your major takeaways? What did you learn? How did you like it?  Be sure to explain your answers.

 

That pay I made 290.00 dollars a week, that was a good flow of money coming in for my job. My job was a picture taker, for people’s blog posts. Moving forward into the rest of the classroom economy I started losing a lot of my money because of taxes and fines. Then towards the last week of the classroom economy, I got evicted and fired from my job. 

 

  1. How did your character’s role/situation in the game affect your ability to take care of yourself?  Think about your income, job, rent, the amount of money you had, any loans you took out, and your health situation.

 

I got one of the lower-paying jobs in the game so every day I have to worry about losing a lot of money towards taxes.  Which was 290.00 a week! From taking pictures.

 

  1. What aspects of your character’s life encouraged success?  What aspects of your character’s life brought about failure?  Explain how that process worked.

 

I brought my life to a failure because  I didn’t pay taxes. Another thing I brought my life to a failure was that I lied on my P&L statement( which is where I put my money flow in)  so I got a lot of fines for that and I would put in jail for this crime. What encouraged my life was that I was able to get a good job( My job was taking pictures for classmates) at least to get some money, but I didn’t get much money for my job. My boss who hired me was Supreme Leader Kaufman.

 

  1. What attempts did you make to improve your character’s life?  How successful were these attempts? How difficult were those attempts and why?

 

I tried to earn as much money as possible by taking a lot of pictures, so people would buy them from me.  I tried to do my job really well, which was a photographer. I also spent a lot of money on my house, college fund, and other things. I also tried to save my money.  I also applied for a new job, the Banker. That job would pay me a higher wage than my current job. I did not receive that job. Another candidate was better than me for the job.  They did better work than I did, which was why they were hired. It was not that difficult to apply for the job, but some of the questions were difficult, mainly because they had to do with being at MJDS for more than a year.  I thought these questions were a bit unfair because of that, I mean what am I suppose to do with these questions.

  • One in every three Americans become poor
  • Obama care is being torn down to create trump care because a lot of people that could work decided to get this insurance.  even though they didn’t need to. 
  • Very hard to keep hold of a family and get a good education in the real world.
  • And the more we go to school tomorrow higher-paying job to get city won’t be in the slums

Today for the second race.

I put my first idea on the second idea to create this…..

so I can fire it the same way I did last time.

I really didn’t add much but a new paint job was needed though.

the speed was 1.31 seconds and 70 inches was the length of distance

what I might try next would be a racer that has a lot less stuff on it.

I really don’t have any questions to ask.

so the rubber band makes the car go by me pulling it back and pushing the car forward.

2. What has been challenging about the initial design?      we couldn’t get the spool to roll like we wanted to

3. How well did your racer perform in the first race? Did it go far? Fast?

it was the fastest and it went the farthest. I think my racer did very well in the race.

4. How will you modify your design for the second race? What variables do you feel will affect how far and fast the racer goes? Why?

I will need more time for this racer, unlike last time where I got a super small amount of time

5. What have been your strengths and challenges during the design process?

my strengths during this operation were team building.  I also need to work on taking other people’s ideas into consideration.

  1. How did you feel when you realized there was such an unequal pay amount between workers and bosses?

I felt like it was fair after my classmates told me what’s fair and I said to myself as long as I’m getting some money and I am fine.  Doesn’t affect me really because I am earning a good amount of money but I still would like more money. Even though they did got money I’m still fine with that I just would like to see if we can make things more fair.

 

  1. Why does unequal pay between workers and bosses happen?

Cuz some of the people are CEOs and they deserve more money 

 

  1. What is a realistic solution to prevent such unequal pay from happening in the future?

To work harder to become a CEO To earn more money. And I also want to Be fair and help out other people so I can get a raise. And moving on I would also like to help out in the class.

Who sang I found interesting in this topic was that I am getting paid and fake money and I knew how to pay taxes and handle my expenses and income .

My Jewish studies project

 

My Jewish studies project I wanted to help out teachers since they have a lot of work on their hands. So what I did is I started helping the health teacher by making ice bags and cleaned up her office. So she can find the band-aids or ice pack for people that are hurt. After helping my school’s health teacher I wanted to help more by helping out my social studies teacher, who wanted to move stuff back into the old math room. It is really fun to help my teacher out I got also credit and more respect around the school environment, I also got to ride one of the schools carts in the hallway ( really fun). Helping my teachers out with some of the work was the greatest feeling I’ve ever had. It wasn’t like when I helped poor people it was like I was growing more in my school’s community, which means a lot to me. But overall I got a really good feeling from it and I also helped out my teachers and leaving them from a lot of stress. This affects how I relate to God by doing some of the 360 mitzvot of the Torah.
