My Jewish Identity

It was kinda fun to put the sand in the bottle but I don’t really think it helped that much with finding my Jewish identity. But I don’t really know much about my Jewish identity so it’s hard to reflect.  But it was fun to do the project.

Book Club 1

1. One new idea from the book club is…

One new idea is that maybe there is more than just adoption happening. I think that there is a sci-fi element to the book. In the beginning, there is a plane that just shows up and the only people on the plane were babies. This is not normal in the real world.

2. The most interesting part of my book is…

So far I think the most interesting thing is when they’re at the FBI office. they find a lot of new information about what is going on in the situation around the adoptions. They also think they see a “ghost” at the office. There is a lot going on in the chunk of reading.

c3. In discussion next time I can grow as a collaborator by…

I think I can stop interrupting people when they talk. When we were in the discussion I was butting in a lot so that made it hard for people to get their ideas across. That made the discussion hard to keep running smoothly. I think if I stop budding in we can cover more topics.

E.T.C

What is going well so far?

So far the equipment has been working pretty well. That was one thing that we thought would be a problem.
What challenges have you faced and how have you overcome those challenges?

One challenge we had was the noise in the place we were working. But we found a nicer quiet place to record.

What have you learned?

I learned how to record songs and edit our videos.

What is your plan for the next quarter? Are you on track to complete your project? How does your plan differ from quarter 1? We are on track and our plan is different from the first because the number of songs that we are singing.

Racer-First Attempt

How well did the racer work?  Did it go far?  Did it go fast?

The racer went pretty far for just a spool and rubber bands. It didn’t go that fast but I went the farthest in the class. But it worked and I didn’t think it would work or go far.

What aspects of your design are working?

When we tested the racer all of the aspects worked except for when we rolled the rubber bands they got in the way of the racer moving.

What aspects of your design are not working?

When we rolled the rubber band around the Spool. The rubber bands got in the way of the wheels turn in that slowed down the racer.

What questions do you have?

Ome question I had was how can we roll up the rubber bands in a way that the don’t get in the way of the weels don’t get in the way.

How will you adjust your design?

Maybe I’ll can shorting the rubber nbands so they don’t get in the way of the weels.

Racer Ideas and Plan

How will you build your racer? We will build our racer by putting rubber bands around the spool then taping it down so it is secure. Then we will wrap the rubber bands around the spool so it can go forward.
What materials will you use?

  • Rubber bands
  • 1 Spool
  • Duck Tape
  • String
What ideas do you have at this point to make your racer go the fastest and the farthest?

We are going to use a spool so it can go faster.

  • What questions do you have?
  • If we pull the rubber bands then will it still mean that the rubber bands are controlling it ?

I believe we should build…

1. I believe we should build a hoop house.

2. The three reasons I believe we should build a hoop house are we can make as big as we want and we can use compost to warm the hoop house and we can grow thing in the winter.

3. Include a photo from the internet (or a drawing you did) that would be used as inspiration for your ideal structure to build. Image result for cute hoop house

ETC Brainstorming reflection

1. Reflect upon the brainstorming process. Explain how easy or difficult was it to brainstorm a variety of ideas?
It was pretty easy for me to pick a  subject because i really like singing and want to record music.
2. We spent three class periods brainstorming. What is the value of slowing down and considering a wide variety of ideas?
The value is you get to think more and make sure i liked it.
3. Reflect upon your ability to communicate and give feedback to your peers. What are your strengths? What are your areas for growth?
Some  areas for improvement are trying to talk without being mean. And some strengths are giving good advice.
4. Why did you choose your topic?
I like singing a lot so it was pretty easy to pick a topic.
