Would you Rather? 9/17/19

What do you need to figure out first before you decide which one you would rather?

What type of math do you need to do? What operations did you use?

Tell me, which one would you rather and why (explain the math that you used)?

  1. I rather read 50 pages 3 times a week because 50×3 =150 but it is only a book with 132 pages so you would be reading less pages for a week.

  2. it depends on the book if it was a who was book that was 132 pages i would read 50 pages but if it was a long boring book i would do 12

  3. On the first one, you need to divide 144/12, which equals 13. On the second one, you need to multiply 50*3, which equals 150. On the first one, I would be able to read it for 13 nights before finishing it. On the second one, I would only be able to read it for a week before finishing it. I like being able to read a book for a long time before having to read another book, so I would choose the first one.

  4. I would do 50 pages 3 times a week because you would read more than 132 pages it is less than reading 12 pages each night. So would you rather b is correct.

    1. NO way, HNelles24. I know you – and I know you would rather read 12 pages every night, because you LOVE READING EVERY NIGHT ANYWAY!!!!

  5. 50 times 3 =150-18=132
    12 times 12 =144
so I would do 12 days a week because I don’t like reading

  6. I would do 50 pages 3 times a week because I would only have to read 150 times and with 12 pages every night I would have to read 1728.

  7. 3 days, because there is only 3 days worth of reading. And 1day=50 2day=50 3day=32.
    better

  8. I would rather do 50 pages 3 times a week because the multiplication sais that I would need to read less then 50 minutes on the 3rd time. You need to figure out the multiplication before you pick witch one.

  9. finger out how meany weeks you have to read.

    I yoused a collator.

    A. because you read more.

  10. … 144/12=12
I used division and I draw a perisher to solve the problem.

I did the 12 pages a day because you get to read the book longer.

  11. I would read both! I would read 62 pages the first night, 12 the second, 62 the third, 12 the fourth, 44 the fifth, 12 the sixth through twelth nights!
